You are invited to attend IORC’s third annual lobby day event. We are mobilizing members and allies to advocate for a more just tax system in Idaho. This event gives participants the unique opportunity to meet with policymakers and have your voice heard. Training will be provided and meetings will be held throughout the day at the Idaho State Capitol Building.
Last year, the Idaho Legislature passed a grocery tax exemption bill. Unfortunately, Governor Otter vetoed it saying “this bill’s benefits are largely imaginary” and he prefers tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy. Make your voice heard at the capitol and help us ensure this bill gets a hearing and is signed into law!
