Weiser River Resource Council
The Weiser River Resource Council (WRRC) is the IORC chapter in Washington and Payette County of Idaho, essentially the western part of the state. The local group came together in August of 2012 after local development in the oil and gas industry. The group is roughly 55 members strong and holds monthly membership meetings wherein members discuss what issues are needing attention.
There are a variety of issues WRRC has identified and advocate for. They include:
- Proper Oil/Gas Development
- Local and Sustainable Agriculture
- Farmers Market Development
- Local Recycling
- Healthy Rivers
- Pollinator Conservation
