Principles of Community Organizing

Do you want to develop your leadership skills? Help your organization build power and raise more money? Affect decisions in your community? The Principles of Community Organizing training sharpens your knowledge of and skills in:

~Why we organize
~Membership recruitment and leadership development
~Developing an issue campaign and taking action
~Running healthy organizations
~Working with the media
~Grassroots fundraising

Using small group activities, videos, role plays, 1-1 exercises and open discussions, WORC’s experienced trainers engage participants in a lively, interactive, and participatory learning environment.

More than 1,000 people have graduated from the Principles of Community Organizing over the last 30 years. This workshop is recognized as one of the best community organizing trainings in the country.
